This semi-rapid detox protocol is offered as an alternative to the now traditionally used Suboxone® treatment.  The Accelerated Non-Suboxone® Opiate Detox protocol offers the patient a cost effective alternative to the more lengthy Suboxone® detox protocols.  Through the use of milder opiate like medications administered over the course of 15 days, patients can now be drug free in a brief amount of time. 

These medications are complemented by utilizing protien building block amino acids and other special medications to reduce withdrawal symptoms and promote healing.  During opiate detoxification, amino acids essential for neural recuperation and correcting nutritional deficiencies which frequently accompany opiate dependency.

We also use specifically targeted detox acupuncture to stimulate the bodies natural ability to fight the withdrawal syndrome. Injections of B-12, B-complex and testosterone to address deficiencies that opiate dependency produce in the body.   Treatment is finished off by the prescribing of Naltrexone, an opiate antagonist, a drug that reduces cravings and blocks the effects of opiates.

The overall cost is lower than a typical Suboxone detox due to the limited number of office visits requires and the lower cost of medications.  This detox protocol is appropriate for light to moderate level users of opiates such as oxycodone, hydrocodone etc.
