Group and individual therapy includes the identification of the origins of feelings of shame, fear and "not good enough"or inadequacy. Via exploration of these feelings and how they have paralleledour development, we begin to understand why we have turned to the use of mindaltering substances as a maladaptive or unhealthy coping strategy.
Via process, engagement in self affirmation, and identification of an irrational belief system, group members learn how to establish inter dependence, improved self confidence and increased motivation fo rlong term sobriety.
